Mike, I'm unable to access my e-mail account with the University computer. So' I'm posting this infor here.
Anyway, in researching Snell's April 11, 1933 bout in THE SEATTLE TIMES, it mentions that Carter KO-1 Snell @ Seattle Civic Arena three years previous. So that will have to be a bout I'll be looking for as I get into 1930 newspaper microfilm. Were you aware of this one?
I also went to the Hillman Boxing Gym in Seattle and left questionnaires there for pro fighters to fill out and e-mail to me, so that we can get that info into the BoxRec database.

Wildcat Carter vs. Doc Snell
Yes, Snell lost that one via KO -- didn't I send you a list of Wildcat Carter fights that included that one?
All the undated fights came from the results section of RING.
I think the Carter KO drove him into retiorement; he then supposedly had a 23-bout win streak that was stopped by Pacho

Nope, you never sent Carter's record to me.
According to the Seattle Times, Snell said "That's enough for me. When Carter knocks me out it's time to quit." Jack Dempsey was the referee, by the way.
The article about the Pacho bout says that Snell had 25 consecutive bouts without a defeat before that April 11 night.
