Absolutely no idea, Brocky. Not my era, at all. I did once see a photo of Peter Jackson though and he looked a fine figure of a man, if that helps.

Yes, we all know who you mean by your "Jogn L sullivan" but it's offensive to my keen eye. You know what I mean. Don't let your standards drop. When you are writing for a big city newspaper you'll look back and remember me and my sound advice.

Edit the first comment on the thread you wrote and edit the subject. It should change the thread title as well, I believe.

From all the research I've done(and I've done quite a bit)Sullivan wins by KO. Jackson was a clever boxer, but not elusive in the Corbett/Mitchell class. He liked to mix it up. NOT a good strategy against a man like Sullivan, who had a cannon for a right hand.

BTW, I wouldn't even make Corbett a favorite over a PRIME John L.
