For those who think Michael Hunter can put Dunne away, put a few $$$ where your mouth is. In turn, I'll put a few pounds where my mouth is. I'll put up 20 pounds against anyone willing to put up 20 US Dollars on Hunter. Whether it's a decision or knockout, it doesn't matter, all that matters is who wins. Any takers? Of course, we'll have to wait until the fight is closer (and actually made)... but this is just a preliminary deal, no done-deals here yet.
Alot of people on here think Michael cant box? But what tactics would you use when you are knocked down in the first 2 rounds, try to out box a very good boxers (Esham) or would you try and go all out for it? Hmm the cards would be a ask when you've lost the first 10-8... Some of you guys on here dont know that Michael was double ABA amature champ, i mean he is the shit guys im tellin ya, Ian McNeilly is a guy who imo knows his boxing and as stujones said "has been harping on bout Hunter" i dont think he'd make him is favorite boxer ect for nothing, he's obviously seen something in Mick which he belives in. He's got a great team behind him ex British Heavyweight title challenger David Garside, who beat Glenn Mclorry. Neil Fannon his trainer too, another top bloke. Guys stop sayig Micheal cant box, alot of you only seen 1 of his fights, ive seen them all. Thanks

Not necessarily true Dunne beat that Ukranian guy Voronin by 2 or 3 rounds yet only just got the decision by a single pointJacko11 wrote:I spoke to Micky yesterday he is well up for the fight.Micky cant box?? two ABA titles... but he cant box yeah right. If the fight is over there Micky will have to stop him

Noel Wilders was very complementary towards Dunne, especially his power when commenting after their recent fight. He has experience of sparring Hunter and boxing Dunne and gave Bernard the egde.
See Thomas Mohan's report at BBN.
I think it could be an excellent fight and I would be hard pressed to pick a a winner. Dunne was given a huge build up whist in the West Coast with Freddy Roach, whilst Hunter has quietly refined his skills in unfashionable Hartlepool...Right now I would fancy the grit of Hunter over the flash on Dunne but I am far from certain with that pick.
