Missing Posts

Not that i'm particularly bothered but i have been on 6,700 and something posts for an eternity. I was on 6,778 or summat the other week now i am seemingly back down into the early 700's (unless i'm going crackers). Is there a reason for this extra terrestrial like behaviour? Have my posts been abducted for testing purposes? Why am i so sad to even notice?

I don't know about the latter, no I haven't deleted any of your posts. I would know my post count - know its too many.
