I haven't been able to find independent confirmation for a couple of the early Sammy Angott fights that are listed in BoxRec.com. Does anyone have documentation for these bouts?
Apr 23 1935 Long Sing Que -- New York -- KO 2
Sep 14 1936 Lee Shepard -- Millvale, PA -- KO 4
Thanks!
Incidentally, there's gotta be a story about Long Sing Que! A record of 3-68-5 qualifies him as a human punching bag.

Confirmation of Angott Bouts
I haven't been able to independently confirm two Angott fights that are listed in Herb Goldman's last Ring Record Book. (These bouts don't appear in BoxRec.com.)
Feb 15 1938 Victor Vallee, New York, W 10
Mar 7 1938 Everett Rightmire, Louisville, W 10
(Rightmire had fought Henry Armstrong about a week before in Chicago. He had been ill in the dressing room before the fight (fainted), but went ahead with the bout. He was TKO'd in 3.)
Any info of whether these two Angott fights are valid?
