Searching For A Record

Post by HomicideHenry »

My friend's uncle used to box, but I have searched and searched and have never found an amateur record of this person.

His actual name was Samuel Donnelly, but often fought under the name Samuel Dandy, and he came from Ireland and later fought in some tournament in the United States.

Was hoping people here with better resources could help me at all with this? Would be most appreciated!

Again, was wondering if anyone is 'expert' enough to find this man?

You can also post your question on http://www.warriorboxing.com's amateur forum. That's the premier forum for the UK.

couldnt find a samuel donnelly or samuel dandy...but i think i found the guy under the name of Richie Donnelly, considering it was in the right time frame and was a USA vs IRE tournament, just like my friend said.

But evidentially he couldnt have been too great, as that was the only tournament of major significance in the database he was in.
