Becoming a boxing promoter

Hey lads im interested in becoming a boxing promoter, putting on a few local fights etc...

Can anyone give me any help here...

What is required to become a legal promoter in the UK and what would the costs come to roughly

I think you need to have held another boxing licenece (ie fighter, second, manager) for at least three years.

i think its changed to 1 year.

You will also need a shit load of dosh that you can kiss goodbye to.
