Alex Arthur vs George Ashie

Post by Twinkle Toes »

George who?

This has the potential to be a very embarrasing night for mainstream tv boxing.

Let's hope it doesn't happen.

Oh dear. I hope that his record is more impressive than we take at face value from his boxrec record. I assume he is somehow rated by the Commonwealth

Well this looks like it could be a mismatch, its always a bit hard to judge these guys from Africa, for every good boxer there is 3 bad ones at commonwealth level.

I'm really disapointed that Carl Johanneson isn't facing Arthurs in April, I'm a big fan of Carls and would love to see him wipe the smile off Arthurs face.

Yes, you'd have thought that at the very least (no offence) Arthur should be fighting Johannsen for the three titles.

He also has a very good looking opponent in the Bellerussian, who's name I can't be bothered trying to spell right now, who is EBU mandatory.

He has to get another three fights in at the very least this year if he wants to be serious about a world title shot. Although if it's opponents like this, he has to fight more.
