Italian test for Mitchell

Post by states »

Whilst perusing the schedules, I see Kevin Mitchell is down to fight this fella:

http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=17183

I see he holds a win over recent John Murray victim Nacho Mendoza (for the vacant IBF Mediterranean title, ,no less!), although it was a close points win, in Italy, so that might not be the whole story.

Does this represent a decent step-up, do you think? Seems reasonable enough on paper.

Seems a good enough test, the Italian is on a good winning run and will hopefully come to win. Good match :TU:

It would be nice to see Mitchell in against domestic foes - known quantities who we could accurately gauage his progress against.

I agree fellas, maybe they could stick him in with someone like Andrew Ferrans, Steve Chinnock, Rocky Dean maybe Kevin O'Hara. After all Mitchell is 18-0 now and i don't think any of those names would be too much to ask.
