Is Hatton's fight with Collazo in dobut?

Post by Boxingnut »

It is being reported in the newspaper The Sportsman that Hatton's fight with Collazo is in doubt as the WBA are insisting that Collazo fights his no. 1 contender.

what a mess

say, is Roman Karmazin-D Santos back on again? the fight was as good as made, then some guy earned #1 spot to Roman's title and it was scuppered. now everyone's acting like RK-DS will go ahead

With Woods vs Dilisle a doubt and Perrera fighting a tune up soon (who knows what will happen).... This whole PPV is looking rocky to say the least.

FA are not giving themselves a lot of time to hype it up. Vargas vs Mosley (a match that didn't excite me) drew huge numbers (Larry Merchants words) cause it was set in stone MONTHS in advanced and was hyped beyond belief. They even had other channels (like ESPN) discussing the fight and basically selling it also.

Mayorga vs DLH was set sometime last year...

And do be fair (and I gave it some criticsm, but I can now see why).... Hatton vs Tszyu was announced in January and took place in June.

They have about 35 days to sell the fight.
