US Suspension laws....

Just wandering does anyone know what the Suspension laws (if any) there are if a fighter gets KO'd in the states?

I notice that Tim Austin is scheduled to appear again later this month, this despite being stopped in his last fight - last week.

Is this fight just slow to being knocked off the schedules, or is it because US has slack suspension laws?

Thats true, neither his loss or his next fight were in big state commisions.

What would happen if a Brit fought in say Ohio, got stopped, could he fight in the UK the next week or would he still be suspended by the BBBoC?

Austin got a 30 day suspension.

His "next" fight was entered before the Aiken loss, so its probably off.

Not that I know of. Certain states pretty much hand you a license and say have fun getting your head beat in.

There is no country wide body in America. Some states don't even have a boxing board at all, so fighters can fight there with complete impugnity.

I believe Michael Grant tried to fight without a state commission and it got shut down.

I believe that the suspension is valid in all ABC states.
