Why isn't Anderson's commonwealth title on the line?

I can guarantee that Gilmour will have Anderson vacate the Commonwealth title purely out of spite. He's a vindictive bastard and won't want to give Mutley the satisfaction of winning it or, if Anderson wins won't want any part of Ali Nummembe, the mandatory.

Who cares, Muttley will win and capitalise on it after.

Bit hard on Jennings that. MJ is a good fighter make no mistake. Why detract from Muttley's win. I am sure he would rather beat a good fighter than a fraud.

I'll be cheering on Anderson too. Trying not to be partisan, but I admire his all-business attitude and he looks to have real substance. The Okine fight was an inspiring step up. It'll be interesting to see if he can lift himself against an away crowd, and to win anyway he'll need to go about his business in a cut-throat manner, which I think he's capable of.

I think Anderson might have a bit to much for Muttley at the moment, think he might nick it on points.
But Muttley with the home crowd behind him might be pushed on to pull out the win.
I don't mind who comes out the winner, as i like both boxers, they have each pulled out a win when they were underdogs, very good value match-up this one.

Anderson wins anyway. He actually fights better away from home, he's not giving a monkeys about going down to Aston Villa to take Muttleys british title, hell we'll even have a night out in Villa after the fight to celebrate   :TU:

Boxingchat, what are you like? "Anderson will give up the commonwealth, rather than fight Ali," nonsense. Do you think we sit up here and say "don't let me fight him"? Don't talk cack, you don't know a thing about Kevin Anderson, or what he thinks. Give it a rest you shit stirrer. Once were through with Muttley, get your pal Frankie to put in Jennings, so we can sparko him as well, that'll maybe shut your trap for a while. You come on this site and constantly slag off Tommy Gilmour, what's the deal, he's obviously upset you big time for you to spend so much of your time on the subject. I'd put a bet on it that most of you guys that are bitching about Gilmour have never spoken to him, all second hand chatter from stirrers like BC.

You are all going on as if Young Mutley is some sort of world beater, Kevin Anderson will take him to bits, Mutley does not hit as hard as you think he does, trust me i know.

Totally agree with you pal, but was wondering how you "know". Have you sparred Muttley? All of you Muttley fans who are posting here, let me ask you, hasn't Muttley been dumped on his arse a few times, cause that's what I here, maybe you can put me right.

Anderson is the best welterweight in britain, I hope it does get televised, so all you guys can see that as well. If Muttleys goes down Anderson will go in for the kill and finish it. See you in Villa

I wouldn't say Anderson is the best welter weight in Britain but he is better than Mutley.

Nah i dont think he is. He got good exposure and its people like Michael Hunter who deserve exposure and dont get none.

To be honest Razor, I not sure up untill recently where Jennings has had more exposure than Hunter.... I know some of Hunter's British title fights were not on Sky, but alot have and he featured a fair few times on the undercard. He has also topped a few Sky bills, I don't think Jennings ever had.

I would say their Sky coverage was roughly even, maybe slightly more to Jennings but there were fighters who received alot more coverage than both.

Of course now with the ITV deal, things are different

Muttley-Anderson is pick 'em. The only thing that separates them (in my opinion) is home advantage.
Thus Lee has the edge.

Ricky doesn't fight at british standard anymore though, to be fair. Anderson would still be an exciting fight though, give it another year, too early. :TU:

Where the hell is villa??!

I think you mean Aston my misguided sweaty friend!! :D :D

I actually like Anderson's style and do rate him but my partisan nature will only allow my to see one winner - The Mut!

On the point of getting dropped, I have never seen him badly hurt and the way to look at it is that he has always got up to win.

Mutley is a banger - dont care waht anyone says.

Misguided, no I don't think so. Sweaty Sock, aye, but I hate the term :-?
Fair enough that your sticking to Muttley cause he's an english guy, don't expect anything else. On your point of note, reading between the lines, I take it Muttley has been over a few times? I gather that he got up to win regardless of the being dumped on the canvas, pity for you guys that he'll not beat the count this time.
