No lies, SKY havn't updated the website yet, bet check on your sky text page 443 (the boxing schedule) there all on there.
The reason why we're not getting Tarver Vs Hopkins is its on the same night as Cotto - Maligiani, anyhow Hopkins is 42 and Tarver's a joke!!! He no longer fights the best ones, just money makers!!!!
We might get the Barrera - Juarez fight and some others if PPV figures are good.
The thing is if SKY realise the interest for these fights they will put them on, like every big wrestling WWF, WWE? is shown.
If enough of us keep on requesting them we will get them, simple as that.

I wouldn't say this is brilliant, this is the sort of stuff that we should expect... come on!... we actually pay for this coverage. The fact that the Hatton fight is ppv is sickening really... anyone who pays for that fight should be ashamed of themselves!!!.... the only way to beat ppv is by not buying it, otherwise a little way down the road it will all be ppv....
It's far from brilliant, remove the channels which aren't Sky, the fights that aren't domestic and take a good look at what you're really getting over an almost 4 month period.
They aren't going to get the message until the rest of you start cancelling your subscriptions.
It isn't raining and the second burst of piss is no doubt just around the corner.

You can't expect everything most of the US fights are PPV at $50 dollars a go in the states.
Also if you've got Showtime then you can't watch HBO fights, we get the best fights from both networks
The reason why I'm happy is that they are showing the major fights live and not PPV.
I understand the Hatton PPV should be free but we get domestic fights anno, and only British, Commenwealth or European!!!
Best coverage in the world!!!
SKY have been crap so far this year, but its a good change to see the big fights live.
Both De La Hoya - Mayorga and Corrales - Castillo are the 2 biggest fights over the next 2 months and good undercards aswell.
I think we are getting more!!! So far I think they've only managed to buy rights to screen a few fights but are bidding for more. All the Top Rank fights, I don't work for SKY
I presume like in previous years we will probably get Barrera's fight, Mosley - Vargas and Taylor-Winky.

I'm quite disappointed not seeing Barrera, to be honest. Not just because he's a great fighter but because Sky have always had quite a good, long relationship with him over the years. In fact, thinking back: Peden, Fana and Morales III were all shown on Sky... and the Pacman loss and Ayala comeback were shown on the BBC's ever-so-awesome Sunday midnight slot. Point being that Barrera's last five fights have been given major network coverage on UK TV. Couple that with his earlier three appearances versus the Brit trio and it's a wonder they've passed up on this one. And it's not like Juarez is a knockover job, in fact, this could turn into a real cracker. Hate to sound like a sourpuss on a good news thread but this was quite disappointing.

Not enough to make me re sign up with Sky yet. ODH/Mayorga is a good sign, but it's past it's sell by date and Sky have always been obsessed with the golden boy - whoever he fights.
Good to see they are sticking with the Brit side of things and giving fighters like Cook air space - after the rumours they were going to drop UK boxing.

But its already ppv... we pay for SKY don't we?... when they have something ppv we are in effect paying for it twice!!... and this is a good deal???.... only if you work for Sky perhaps, otherwise it stinks!!!... :xBoxing Addict wrote:You can't expect everything most of the US fights are PPV at $50 dollars a go in the states.
