I dont mean to keep picking, but...
You post an article about how crap Joe Calzaghe is and how amazing James Toney is, then come onto the British Boxing forum and want people to come use your site.
It would be one thing if these opinions were true, or at least widely agreed with, but I dont think they are.
Maybe it was never your intention to make any form of impartial reporting, but it just seems like a lot of hate and nut-hugging, quite amateurish.
Anyway, sorry for the rant.
Good luck with your site.
It is quite clear whoever runs and/or writes for this site is not impartial and has their favourites - but for me, personally, that doesn't seem a good way to get more people to use your site.As our readers will know we at square-ring tell it how it is

Thanks for your comments guys.
I myself (Michael) am the web designer/developer and write the occasional report, the rankings are put together by a long serving member of the team, Scott.
I do disagree with the rankings, JC in second place behind Kessler and Mesi in second place etc, but I'm told that's the way it's done...
Square-Ring have always been controversial.... (although I don't always agree with their views).
Regarding the Calzaghe report, I told them that I didn't feel comfortable with putting the article up and such linked my own article at the bottom of Scott's report. I did suggest it may have damning repurcussions within the boxing world, but hey, Im just the designer...!!!
Anyway, please check out another of my sites:
http://www.calzaghe.co.uk
Hope you will find this one less contoversial!!
Thanks again,
Koomey

Yeah, the Calzaghe artilce was pretty damning, but glad you ike my own effort. The grammar is really bad but I simply don't have time to correct all his mistakes!!states wrote:Those rankings are appalling. And that fella's Calzaghe piece was dreadful, not least because of his shocking grammar.
The layout is decent enough though koomey.
I shall gladly pass on your comments to the guys who run the site.
Thanks again,
Koomey

Well, not actually seen the site, talking about the principle...
Hi James, sat next to you last year at the Woods-Gonzalez fight in Sheffield, you're a nice guy and know your stuff!
p.s. - anyone wanting any boxing web design doing, let me know.
