Good Sports Network card on ITV 4 with Kevin Mitchell headlining. The programme clashes with the begning of the PPV (as with Hatton vs Maussa)...

The Mitchell fight is crap and probably end up with an late stoppage for Mitchell. Who's he fighting
Why does he have to do this IBF Intercontinental crap, fight for the vacant British title!!!
I'll be definately doing the PPV, its not bad, especially Hattons fight, which is tricky, plus i've never watched live boxing from Boston.
Remember whe're not just paying for this PPV, but for all the free big Live US fights that SKY will show this summer and based on PPV returns will continue to show. I realised with the De La Hoya card at the weekend their really trying to launch the boxing on SKY at the moment, giving boxer backgrounds, venue history etc, etc.
To be fair £14.95 is not bad for everything whe're getting this summer
All the real boxing fans should get behind the Hatton, you know the americans would if Mayweather came over here.

Eh, it's not just £14.95. Remember it's also £36 per month for the Sky Sports package - you would expect free fights for that. Hatton should be heading for the ring I'd say shortly after 9pm Boston for HBO Prime Time TV. The time difference is currently five hours - meaning expect Hatton in the ring shortly after 2am. Local star Clinton Woods defends his IBF light-heavyweight title against Aussie "nailer" and former opponent Jason Delisle at the Ponds Forge Centre in Sheffield this Friday (May 13).
Back in October 2004, also in Sheffield, Woods stopped Delisle in the 12th of an official IBF eliminator. He had to work for it. He was knocked down in the opening seconds by a Delisle right, but found his feet, equalled up the knockdowns with a big left hook in the seventh and dominated the later rounds to finally force the stoppage - much to the delight of a packed Octagon Centre.
"It was good for the crowd, I think they enjoyed it," Woods said.
"I got caught in the first round. I can't really remember much about it but he caught me.
"I was actually enjoying the last few rounds, which you don't normally do - I nearly did an Ali shuffle! I turned it on and stopped him."
Clinton went on to win the vacant IBF title when he outclassed American Rico Hoye at a packed Magna Centre in Rotherham last year - a triumph for hard-earned experience over raw potential and power. Hoye came in with a puncher's reputation but Woods had tackled a peak Roy Jones and Glen Johnson (twice) in previous world title cracks and jumped on the tall Detroiter, a convicted killer at 16, hurting him in the first round and picking him off with combinations thereafter. It was something of a relief when referee Ian John-Lewis rescued the pre-fight favourite in the fifth.
"I've got a collection now," said Clinton, a former undefeated British, Commonwealth and European champion - "what other British fighter has a belt like this?
"People wrote me off after the last Johnson fight but I started much faster than usual and my energy levels were high throughout." (Woods was diagnosed with an iron deficiency after the second Johnson affair).
In his first defence in Sheffield last September, he boxed his way to another impressive win over mandatory contender Julio Cesar Gonzalez (unanimous). Clinton's jab is a highly-underrated weapon, and his strength and stamina are exceptional. As for his chin: he got hit with everything but the kitchen sink by Jones and took some almighty wallops off Johnson, too. But in 12 years as a pro, only Delisle and Norway banger Ole Klemetsen have floored him.
Woods climbed up to stop both men.
So Sydney man Delisle, who brings over an 18-4-2 (9) record, looks up against it (again). He's fought only twice outside Australia and lost them both: once to Woods, of course, the other to Mexican-American Gonzalez in a 12-rounder last time out in California (unanimous) - the same Gonzalez beaten by Woods.
The other men to beat him are Danny Green, the Perth puncher, and Aussie veteran Paul Smallman. Green kayoed him in five rounds for the vacant OPBF super-middleweight title in 2003 (it was a war until world class Green finally overwhelmed Delisle); Smallman took a majority eight-round decision over him in 2002.
In a rematch a year later, Delisle stopped Smallman in 11.
The 33-year-old Delisle, a long-time amateur, was already 28 when he turned after failing to make the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He went unbeaten in his first 10 fights (two draws) and picked up the Australian light-heavyweight title with a unanimous 12-round decision over useful Peter Ngateri in August 2002, before losing that non-title encounter to Smallman.
He avenged the defeat in defence of his title, outpointed unbeaten Sydney rival Peter Manesis in another defence (split 12-round decision), but was overpowered when he dropped down to face Green.
He bounced back to take the IBF Pan Pacific light-heavyweight title from Manly's John Wyborn on a unanimous 12-round decision, a title he he's defended it six times, including a cuts stoppage of former Robin Reid victim Enrique Campos of Argentina (eight rounds).
But Woods proved too strong for him, and Gonzalez also tamed him in San Jose in November in the rugged Delisle's last outing. He might be a bit rusty, though went the full 12 rounds and Woods himself has been out since last year - since licking Gonzalez last September, in fact.
The champion is no spring chicken at 34, but on his own patch will fancy his chances of forcing another stoppage win over Delisle. He was on the verge of stopping him two or three times the last time before referee Howard Foster did step in with 70 seconds remaining. Aussie fighters generally fall into the same mould of toughness and rawness, lacking finer edges. The challenger is no exception. Delisle knows he can tag Woods and is still fresh after just six years as a pro. He'll put up a good showing for sure on Friday.
But Woods is the only winner.

Not great is it for PPV? I hear Barnes is off as is Krence V Baker...leaves very little to whet the appetite for the Hatton fight which won't go long.
