I believe, Blue (he can probably explain better), is using that for unverified bouts that are getting put in that are verified with newspapers only and not commission reports.

Thanks for putting up the explanation, Matt.
I use the NWS as an early lead to inform members that a show did happen recently.

It’s only temporary until it’s researched and linked to a news (?) or commission (Checmarked) report.
BoxRec walks a thin line between what the promoters & commissions want.
Editors appreciate these leads, they research and confim them.
