Ricky Burns

Post by Max Molyneux »

How does a guy like Burns beat a really good lightweight in Earl but wasn't ready to beat Arthur, yet is thought of as a real talented prospect that could do well?

styles , aswell as Earl coming in underestimating Burns and coming in unmotivated . But mainly styles(aswell as Arthur being better than Earl) .

Is Ricky Burns talented enough to go far enough to win a world title like I hear though

In truth I don't think so , he's a great prospect and he will be up to British+commonwealth+European standard but it takes special fighters(normally) to win world titles . I do believe he will be good enough to maybe get a world title shot but unless he comes up against a very weak champion I don't think he will take it .

Still a very good fighter and who knows he could prove me wrong .
