I was watching my Fenech video (again) and i was wondering about Jerome Coffee...when he came here to fight Fenech in 1985 he was something like 26-0, was he considered a top prospect?
on the video johnny lewis is talking him up saying that he had one of the best jabs in boxing and was considered one of the better young american fighters of the time.
is this true? or is johnny just dribbling?
i understand there was some controversy over the result of the Fenech-Coffee fight, or at least Coffee thinks he got the short end of the stick. i have never seen the whole fight, so anyone who has please comment
