If the Philly site is accurate, does anyone know which fights we are missing? Or is the Philly site mistaken? (Does that 212 total include any amateur or exhibition bouts?)
Midget Wolgast's Complete Record
I don't have the whole record on file, but according to the 1986-87 RRB, Midget Wolgast had 216 bouts that broke down like this:
216 Fights 16 KOs 137W 28L 6KO'd 1LF 153-35-16 w/12 ND
The Philly boxing site is probably a better indicator because there were still mistakes in the 86-87 RRB that would alter the records slightly.

I found a bout that Midget Wolgast had with Davey Abad
in Ventura, California on June 26, 1936. The bout ended
in a draw after eight rounds.
By the way, I didn't find any evidence that Wolgast fought
Abad in San Luis Obispo, California on September 11, 1936.
Heck! the main fight venue in the area was in Pismo Beach,
a place where there were lots of Filipino fight fans. One
other interesting point......I think that Wolgast would be
fighting a Filipino at such a venue. Abad was from
Panama.
