Boxers in California 1960's
How can I get information, pictures and posters of Calif boxers from the 1960's?
Great Venue was the old Olympic Auditorium.
Id say the main fighter in the California scene of the 1960s was mando Ramos who had unbelievable talent but was an alcoholic and heroin user.
He was Lightweight champ and had some big wins but also wasted a large portion of his potential living the "high life".
Jackie McCoy was a very colorful manager /trainer of some of the champs and contendors on the west coast during this time also.
Do a search on any of these topics and the history will unfold I think.
