Boy is this crude..... typical 1950s fight.

ur boy max baer was a lot more crude than these guys. baker and satterfield at least had technique and boxing skills.

i wouldnt be suprised if bob baker boxes max baers ears off. baer was so crude and wild. satterfield at least had technique and skill.

..it takes me a half hour to download a 2 minute fight....which i did..but i also saw it when it was live and have it on tape somewhere. not two crude guys by any means. typical satterfield first round fight. he moves a bit....gets shaken....makes baker come to him...and boom.....dy-no-mite. no way to match satterfield in any fantasy bout. if he got to you first he had a chance.....not against baer, though. joe louis said hitting baer was like trying to drive bricks into the wall. satterfield....baer...two non trainers....two early round guys. satterfield would come at baer and swat him and baer would forget about the girl in the second row and kayo the explosive satterfield. i hope there are some tapes of longer satterfield fights around. he had class and could box when he had too....and could win a decision every now and then when he didn't get tired.

two weaknesses....inability to take a punch to the side of his jaw....and training on the dance floors of the southside of chicago. plus...when he knew he couldn't go more than few rounds...he ignored defense and came in wide open.
