Holiday Inn Express in Salford Quays is where I have always stayed. Not exactly that close to the arena but nice and reasonably priced.

You're actually paying for this crap? It's like the equlivalent of 500 american dollars for the best seats.

I'm probably gonna go too - on my doorstep and the undercard looks good.

When I went for the Hatton V Tsyzu fight I stopped in the Tulip which was just down from Old Trafford and was a excellent hotel but you did have to get the Metro Link into town which really only took a 5 min walk to the platform a 5 mins on the train.....

When I went for the Lacy V Calzaghe fight I stopped in the Conference Rooms Hotel, it was more central but to me not half as good as the Tulip.....

There's not gonna be much about under a £100 for the night in town emma - The Brittania is central and fairly reasonable in comparison to some of the others.

Unless money is no object i'd forget the ones the boxers stay at i.e. Midland.

I stayed at the Midland for the Calzaghe v Lacey fight. Team Lacey and all of the Sky team were there, great atmosphere, really got you in the mood for the fight.

My favourite hotwl in Manchester is the Lowry, but its a bit lumpy price-wise.
