Castillo v Witter on course for a collision.

Post by boxbet »

Looking at the WBC manditory's this fight could take place if they both win there next fight or two. this would be a great clash of styles. would like to see how witter copes with the pressure of castillo. any predictions?? Witter has the ability to make some boxers look bad. Can he do it with Castillo???

I'd pick Castillo to beat Witter.

However I do think that Castillo v Hatton will be made for the IBF belt hence Castillo wont fight Witter :TU:

Has Castillo fought anyone who hits harder than Witter though?

I'd take Castillo to stop Witter. Witter's best chance would be a KO during the early rounds, but i dont think it would come of for him. I reckon Castillo would work him over and stop him somehwere in the second half of the fight. If it went to the cards, Castillo by UD!

I dont think Witter would take this fight soon though. I think he is going to try and sit on his title and carefully choose his next few oponents. That seems to be the way of it now.

I think Witter's a very bad fight for Castillo. Castillo has a superb body of work, vs all styles. But he had problems with Johnston, Casamayor and Mayweather. Witter's not an outstanding fighter like those three. But like Mayweather he would be able to reduce the level of contact, frustrate the Mexican, pick his spots. Witter to win ugly, although I never write Castillo off. But it's a fight that won't happen.
