All right, all right...Krizan never fought again and finished with a 7-4 log. Torres boxed once more and won, against a name sake but hasn't been seen since (under that name anyway) and ended up 14-2.

Happened back in 2003.

Say what you like about defend yourself at all times but Torres was a complete piece of shit for doing that.

OK?

It was disgracefully bad sportsmanship but did he actually break any rules?

It seems not everyone can read Boxrec, otherwise they wouldn't be asking. See, try to help someone out and you get sarcastic comments.

'why die Krizan'? Sounds like he was permanently injured.

To my recollection, Krizan was okay after being checked out (but went to the hospital that night).

Torres, who was a semi-promoted prospect for CES Boxing in New England, was interviewed on FNF the week after the fight -- the fight was not actually shown live on FNF, but replayed the week after when they interviewed Torres. In the interview, Torres said he thought Krizan raised his hand to throw a punch. Teddy Atlas more or less stated he felt Torres did nothing wrong.

Torres used to live with Chad Dawson (when both were promoted by CES). Something happened with Dawson -- drug charges or some such but I don't recall Torres ever being mentioned in all of that. At any rate, there was a major falling out and Dawson left CES (and then Torres was gone as well).
