Hand wrapping for competition

Post by predator »

Hi Guys

Im new to this forum, love boxing but train MMA/grappling (box very little at the moment only 1 hour a week)

but love the sport and followed it since i was a kid.

my question is how to wrap hands for competitions, i can ribbon wrap my hands fine with canvas wraps for sparring/bag work etc.

but i would like to know how to wrap using bandage and tape.

Does anyone have any links or DVDs or knowledge on the subject?

i seen a TITLE dvd on a website somewhere but i'd thought i would ask here first.

Thank for any help in advance

Alright mate here's a link to a vid of Joe Goosen wrapping Sugar Shanes hands, pretty similar to what you would use for a professional fight.

Although for amateur (which i assume you are) competition you can only use one set of crepe bandages, no tape etc.
Hope this helps :TU:
