USA Boxing Director of Events ?

Has Anthony Bartkowski left his position of Director of Events ?

The question is being asked because if we dont have a Director of Events then our athletes wont be competing in the best international competitions such as the ASIAN GAMES that begin next week .does anyone no whos manning the ship?

I am wondering the same thing. USA Boxing is advertising the position so something is going on.

Anthony Bartkowski's last day was November 17, 2006. Jeff Steffen, who was the Events Coordinator, is handling all the events duties until a replacement for Bartkowski is hired.

I also wanted to mention that one of the new directors on USA Boxing’s board of directors is Andy Geiger. Andy Geiger was the A.D. at my alma mater, The Ohio State University, for over 10 years. He has vast experience with managing a major sports program since he also was an AD or assistant AD at several other major universities. Maybe he can assist USA Boxing with raising money to support the program since he obviously knows a thing or two about it.
