I am new to this site. I found it doing a search for a boxer's name, which I have had no success.
To introduce myself, I collect postcards, especially sports of many areas. My reason for writing is that I recently purchased a b/w postcard showing a man in a fighter pose. At the bottom in the print is the name "Louis Deschamps", and in parentheses under his name the French words "(Poids moyen 1st Serie)". The card is of European origin, and appears to be from France or Belgium.
I would like to find some history on this fighter, but all efforts on the NET have been frustrating.
There was nothing showing in the search on this site.
Can anyone out there help?
