Commonwealth SuperBantamweight

Why has Issac Ward been given a shot at the vacant commonwealth superbantam title? He's a bantamweight and secondly even if he's moved up there would be a list more deserving out of the UK to box for it. In no order_ Sean Hughes, Esham Pickering,Noal Wilders, Marc Callaghan, Danny Wallace And Rendall Munroe. And im not suggesting every one of these should deserve a shot and no disrespect to Ward as I think he's a capable and guttsy fighter but all those mentioned would surley deserve the shot more than Ward at this moment in time even by just the fact that these have boxed and fought for titles in this division

Noel Wilders doesnt deserve no more of a chance that Ward, Wilders has done nothing in the last 3 years, waste of talent in my eyes, there was some nice domestic fights for him in Callaghan and Hughes but hes done nothing at all. The division is open with Dunne being in a different class and Hunter moving up.Good luck to Isaac i say hes a nice bloke.

The Commonwealth board (or whatever it is called) do seem to be able to pick out names from a hat. Surely two more eligable fighters than these two.

The other guy has only fought outside Tansania twice, and he is 1-1 in those fights.

If Rendall Munroe is campaigning at Super Bantam (he will be a massive Super Bantam) then I would like to see him in title action. I would like to see Munroe vs Pickering, or Munroe vs Hunter in the near future.

Rendall is to campaign at Super Bantamweight and is more deserving of the chance - a close loss to Andy Morris, or a one-sided defeat to Martin Power?

Seems an odd decision.

Munroe's performance against Morris has done him more harm than good, in my opinion. He thought it may open some doors, but since Derry Matthews was the only fighter wanting to fight him, he's had it pretty hard.

He was due to fight on Johnny Griffin's 14th December show in Leicester but he couldnt get matched. He plans to fight at Super Bantam but, as said previously, can't get matched.

However, the winner of Callaghan-Pickering may be interested in fighting Rendall - don't hold your breath, though!

And I would say good luck to Isaac and I dont doubt hes a nice bloke as most boxers are but I feel the other superbantams have proved more at that weight to warrant a commonwealth title shot than what Ward has, I mean has he ever boxed at superbantam? and dont get me wrong as I dont doubt he is capable but what happend to proving yourself and working yourway up? its the politics im having a pick at not the boxers as they work hard and id wish any best of luck who gets a chance in the hardest sport

Why wouldnt you hold your breath? Looking at who Pickering and Callaghan have boxed theres nothing to suggest that either of them wouldnt accept a challenge from Rendall or anyone for that matter

Who else are they going to fight though?
