HERBIE HIDE v KELVIN DAVIS JAN 07

Post by overhand_right »

The Crazed One is back. How does he fair v Davis?

Would Allegedly ever import Hide as an opponent for Macca? Would be good PR.

Would Haye fight Hide? That would be just about the most bizarre and unforseen fight pairing since Iran Barkley/Gerrie Coetzee.

Good step up in competition. With Davis come forward style this fight is gonna be short and I think he may get to Hide before the ol dancing destroyer can take him out. If Hide can get some fights in he can definitely bring some excitement, someone is always gonna get knocked out

Hide is gonna get KTFO.
Davis is too slick for him and Herbie is shot to pieces.
Enzo or Haye would both also knock him clean out him these days

when is Hide going to pull out?

Hide had the potential to be an excellent cruiser, but he could get stopped by Davis.

Interesting fight.

Hide, for me, is just too vulnerable to win consistantly at any sort of competitive level though, especially at this late stage. But on his night he's still more than capable of good results. I'd pick Davis, but with no real conviction, there's always a chance that Hide could land one of his bombs.

Very interesting fight, if at Cruiserweight - Hide will be right back in both the domestic and world mix if he wins.

However, I don't think he will.

Well both he and Davis have a habit of pulling out of fights so I'll be surprised if this actually happens.

Is this fight confirmed?
I still think that Herbie if he chooses to box and use whatever speed he has left will have a decent run at cruiserweight. Hope he finds some success in his comeback.

I'd love to see this, if only to see Hide get sparked again.
