I Need Some help

Hello I found this site after I've been searching for answers. My grandfathers name is Gordan Fleming, I herd he became a champian boxer in the phippens sometime after WW2 but I've also herd rumors that he may have used a false name. My grandfather is gone now and I want to find out the truth and I'm praying against odds someone can help me. My grandfather was a some what skinny Irish man. He's have to be close to 20's. That's all I have. I'd really hope someone could help me. it's been over a year now.

If I understand your question properly: Your granddad was Irish but he won a tiltle in the Philippens after World War 2...possibly under a different name.

A thought occurs to me that you might want to contact Philippen boxing correspondents for the various boxing sites on the web--even this one, I believe--has a Philippen correspondent.

The expert in that area is a guy named Joe Kozumi, who knows everything about boxing in the Orient. He is the correspondent for 'Ring' magazine. You may get a contact address from them.
