OFF-TOPIC... ANYONE GOT BACK ONTO EBAY??
I know theres a few here who used to sell boxing fights on ebay before the plug was rudely pulled late last year, ...I'm just wondering whether anyone has been reinstated and also what you make of the various hoops that they ask you to jump throuugh if you want reinstatement?.... why the need for photocopies of drivers lisences and passports??.

I tried under a different username etc and I wss back off within the week.
I know a lot of fvckwit sellers like to dob in other sellers.
The guy at boxingvideoclassics.com used to do this all the time, because he felt people were selling poor quality fights (in other words he didn't like the comp and was worried about his own fights being sold on).
That guy from the BM ads (foreplay porn or something?) did the same, from what I heard. I think he even admitted it on here.
Ebay are able to get onto this straight away. I wouldn't be surprised if they employ fight sellers/former ones to keep an eye out. Or maybe there are too many jealous fight sellers who forget they don't own copyright.
Ultimately, sellers themselves fvcked up. They got greedy and they got possessive. Now no one can sell via Ebay.

Yeah the people that 'grassed' on other sellers are just low life imo and stupid, after all when you sell fights you dont own the copyright to them just cause you mixed them onto a dvd. And where did these people that 'grassed' get their fights in the first place?. Having said that some sellers did get stupid and start selling 10 dvds at a starting price of £1 (I never did) and simular ridiculous 'deals' so I can imagine that this put the backs up of the rather more expensive sellers and started off all the problems.fried bread wrote:I tried under a different username etc and I wss back off within the week.

This is why supermarkets and the like have agreements over their prices so that they dont end up kncoking eachother out of buisness... if people had been a bit more sensible everyone could have done quite well together... :x
Funny that you show up now, do you cruise the forum for months just waiting to stick your nose into other peoples buisness?. And I never brought any fights off you and very much doubt that Fried bread did either, ...your a total loser mate just because you put some fights onto dvds doesnt give you the copyright of them!... what about the people you got the fights off in the first place?... and if you taped them from the tv you still dont own the copyright!... dumbarse fink!...4playfights wrote:fried bread wrote:I tried under a different username etc and I wss back off within the week.

ebay have an auto script in place that deletes suspect listings
ie its done automatically (they dont employ ex sellers hahaha)
I couldnt give a monkeys about useless crap sold on ebay but i wasnt going to let 2 muppets sell my handmade dvd collections on ebay

i bet the quality of that is superb
The quality is very good, and whats more I dont charge £40+ for them and claim to be the 'Author' of them!! hahahaha!... I find it strange that you claim to be on good terms with RedDragon as I've known him quite a while and cant see him associating with the likes of you... also why dont you have a problem with him as his prices are much lower than yours?... but then you've probably got a lot of your fights from him eh!??...
now go and crawl back under your rock at the Current forum!...
4play, are there any reliable ways around the auto script?4playfights wrote:fried bread wrote:I tried under a different username etc and I wss back off within the week.

Well bully for you, most people who sell fights make up their own sets with their 'own hands' its not rocket science... as for my Tyson fights that you seem so interested in 90% of them were recorded by myself at the time and some of the others came from Brian!... and while the ones I got off him arent mint I wouldnt call them crap like you did!!... 8)4playfights wrote:IVE DONE SOME TRADES WITH BRIAN
but no i make my own sets mostly, i have thousands of fights on vhs which i transfer
as for ebay no idea really
i think they have decided no more boxing dvds as a policy
How do you know??... ask him?? ...why would I lie about where I get fights from?... your mixture of arrogance and stupidity is beyond belief, I've brought plenty of fights from him and swapped some as well... And I never claimed that they were his whole career just his early fights and documentries up to 1990 not that its any of your buisness. I never bothered selling his post 1990 fights except for the Ruddock and Holifield fights, which I sold seperately!. If youre going to talk about what I sell get your facts right, because you know nothing about me or my collection, I'm a genuine seller/trader who is always honest about the quality of my fights and my ebay feedback speaks for itself, I only ever had trouble from a few people who I suspect were traders like yourself... in fact as you keep going on about the Tyson fights I've a good idea who you are, and you know very well that theres nothing wrong with those Tyson fights I sold because you brought them from me yourself!!...4playfights wrote:so you are saying you have made up a set yourself from scratch
lets be clear on this
you actually made the tyson set and bought some stuff from brian
is that so
as i know for a fact you didnt buy zip from him

yeah but do you focus on top picture quality? Most ppl who try & get everything by a certain fighter ineitaby add dire quality ones, bad conversions, ugly tape to disc, flickering tape, dirty bus window picture quality, long play tapes copied to disc (yuck), crisp packet quality sound, discs that aren't even finalised, discs that just don't work - I've seen some of the stuff from the back of BM - not yours, I'll admit - and it isn't pretty.
You're such a prat, laughable, if my stuff is so bad why are you so concerned about it eh??... I couldnt give a shit about you or your 'fights' so why are you so interested in me??.... I dont need to boast about what I sell why do you need to??... for someone who claims to be so successful you're extremely insecure mate! 8) go get a life and crawl back under your rock you idiot I pity anyone stupid enough to buy anything off you, proffessional!... your just deluded mate and a joke!4playfights wrote:oh my lord
you think i bought a 6 disc tyson set from you
hahaha
erm why would i bother as i have 200 odd vhs tapes FULL of tyson footage and sell a 30 dvd tyson set
i sell something like 150 different fight careers . hilst you were a crappy reseller of junk on ebay .
Face up to it and move on and do something else , leave this to the professionals eh?
6 disc tyson sets indeed
priceless............

How's your Wilfredo Gomez collection these days, 4skin? Remember how you were asked about quality and finally had to admit it was no better than the other shite stuff being offered on ebay? For someone who claims they are open and honest, it was hilarious how you finally had to admit your stuff was the same tat that used to be on offer on ebay.4playfights wrote:tiny little pathetic clowns who have bought some utter rubbish off ebay and now are winging like little girls because they cant get back onto ebay to rip off more people with their utter tat
no need -i know you're against cramming onto discs in LP etc so you seem ok in all fairness4playfights wrote:for the sake of fairness and so i can have my name left alone pm me maussa and i will send you a recent disc so you can see quality etc. Ive no wish to sell on here im just bored of being slagged off by jealous muppets

No 4play gets all his stuff from the twilight zone, where the quality is really out of this world!.. 8)Collins2000 wrote:How's your Wilfredo Gomez collection these days, 4skin? 5? 3 ?
You're mistaking me for someone who actually cares about what your doing... you obviously care a lot about what I'm up to but the feelings not mutual I'm afraid mate!
... though I have to say that you have made me chuckle!!.
... facy boasting about fights from the 80s/90s!.
.. have you got Nelson vs Britt?.
.. Nelson vs Gans?.
.. Robinson vs Jones??
Canzoneri vs Chocolate
.... Gavilan vs Turner??.
.. serious collectors collect fights that are actually 'collectable' and 'rare' (look these words up in a dictionary if you get stuck!!
8) ) they dont boast about fights they have that are less than 20 years old!.... but then this is probably a bit too complicated for you to understand....
