Pretty big, John was to busy - although Dazzo's shots had the slightly more quality to them.

It was really clear cut, as bout as clear cut as you can get in an excellent contest. Anyone who scored it for Williams really does need their eyes tested. I think there is a stronger case for Earl against Vanzie (twice) than it was for Williams vs Simpson.

Maybe Vincent against Barnes was the bigger robbery, but not by much.

one of the first fights I saw live on Sky. 2004, I think it was. It was a nasty decision. Simpson outboxed him with light punches all night. He was ahead by a mile, so it seemed...

Happened around the same time as the cracking Meager-Hunt fight. That was a 'closer robbery' IMO. Meager was definitely jobbed.

These are my earliest memories of having Sky, in addition to Hatton battering Mike Stewart in an evil mismatch and Enzo macca fighting a model that had a bit part in A BRONX TALE whose footwork & punch resistance indicated he was ice skating.

On the latter 2, f(r)anks for the memories!

Sky never showed the full Meager vs Hunt fight, I thought (going on the commentator's card on the rounds that were not shown) that Hunt just scraped home, or a draw. Can see why it might have gone the other way though.

It was probably the worst robbery I've seen in a British ring over recent years. I'd have said that it was every bit as bad as Barnes/Vincent. Simpson controlled the entire fight, landing at will, whilst Williams never got started. It was shameful.
