Well everyones entitled to their opinion, but Hagler was a Middleweight and Pryorr was a light-welter.... Blocker was a good fighter but not a 'great' fighter... he was clearly beaten by Lloyd Honeyghan who was a better boxer, I'd also rate Mark Breland and Marlon Starling over Blocker and moving back a few years Don Curry and Milton Mccrory....

Blocker was a good fighter, but he had the chance to step up into another level vs. Simon Brown and he got beat.
Brown has to rank above him .

Blocker was a good fighter. He'd be competitive with most and almost always gave a good account of himself.

Heights not everything, if you cant fight height is as useful in the ring as a block of cheese, fact is Blocker could fight, he was more than just tall... he wasnt an all time great though...

By whom? You?!?!? You're just some dork on the internet who doesn't even know how to type.
Welcome Richard, I see you've met our official greeter Decagon, who knows tons about boxing but has yet to attend the charm seminars we put on here at BoxRec.

Now as for as for Dan Blocker's cousin being a top dog at welter...I imagine your going to head into oncoming traffic with that one. And just how accomplished did you feel Hagler was in this division? hmmm come to think of it he was never defeated as a Welter correct? More than we can say about his MW years. Same can be said about Monzon during his Heavyweight years I suppose. Anyways...Welcome to the forum.
