Aside from all the Audley hating hes made 3 interesting match ups so far (williams and sprott) and we may get more interesting match ups.

Retire.

Obviously he could stick around, earn a crust, beat a couple of jouneymen, but after the weekend he's finished at any sort of title level. It was clear, and honestly had been for a while, that he doesn't like being roughed up or forced onto the back foot. He also either freezes or becomes incredibly reticent when any sort of pressure is applied. Combine that with the question of how someone with such a large ego can comeback from such an ignominious defeat and I think there's little option than to call it a day.

I seriously don't see how he comes back from this. He has always fought scared, think how he'll be now he's been knocked out cold.

I doubt he could ever redeem himself now so retirement seems the sensible option. But, he has been well a truley disgraced in the press and something tells me his pride will want to avenge that. If he is going to fight on, i hope he shows enough smarts and goes about his buisness without running that big fcuking mouth of his.

I think it is almost certain he will continue - I don't believe he will want to retire on such an unsatisfactory note + we have to factor in his ego, which i am sure will want to get back in the ring.

On saying that, his short comings have been well and truly exposed, and if he does carry on then I guess other fighters are just going to lay into him from the moment the first round starts.

What is the point in him boxing?

You need to have 'balls' to box & he has proved conclusively that he doesn't have any.

There can't have been a boxer in history (with the exception of Jake LaMotta :P ) that liked being hit, but they dealt with it, readjusted & fought back.

Why box if you are terrified of being hit?

Why box if you are too lazy to improve your fitness levels, so that your stamina can carry you for 12 hard rounds?

Why box if you are not prepared to face your comtemporaries?

He just needs to sod off to Las Vegas & look after his wife & kids with the money that he did not deserve to earn in the ring.
