Which world title will khan win first
You know, when Eubank won a world title it was the WBO and at that time i think it was a worthless title as anyone was getting shots at the WBO.
Im thinking Amir Khan will get a shot at it to. Maybe not this year but I really think that is the title he will go for first.
As allegedly got connections with the WBO?

Not when he becomes a real life boy. But at the start, yes, I believe so, although it isn't really a field that I'm overly knowledgable in.MightyWarrior wrote:Does Pinocchio have wooden balls?mimmy123 wrote: As allegedly allegedly got connections with the WBO?

Pinocchio actually has no balls, too simplify design his nose doubles as a penis, aparently he got very turned on by lying. His mocus doubles as semen, hence no need for balls as semen is stored within the nose. If Pinnochio sneezes DUCK!!!glittermonkey wrote:Not when he becomes a real life boy. WBO holder at lighweight is good and Torres would murder Khan, Khans going for the WBU no doubt. Down the road Juan Diaz may suit Khan stylistically in the future - not a big hitter, slower than Khan, lots of pressure but Khans got a high output himself. They may move Khan up to face Mbaiye as he agesoverhand_right wrote:Depends how weak the champ is at the time. If its a live body holding the WBOllocks belt then Khan will be steered the WBUllshit route.
Well Khan is talking 18 months/2 years. Pacman wont be shot in that time. Guzman wont be moving up now, but give it a year or two and he'll be looking to move on.viciousmaussa wrote:By that time IMO Pac will be shot. Guzman's a bit too small. They both started off at too low a weight to be good 135-pounders. I don't see a new wave coming to rival Mayweather, Castillo, Casamayor, Corrales.
I still think Alex Arthur will get a shot at the WBO lightweight belt and that's what will eventually end up around Khan's waist.
I think Warren can manouvre Khan to being a world class fighter. Unfortunately he'll probably learn his trade in ugly, boring WBU fights with cagey imports - so that he learns how to hit a difficult target, how to cut the ring down etc etc. If Khan can go all the way, he'll be a big, fast lightweight, which will work in his favor.

Wide open. Not for Khan, he's not ready for any of those cats by a long friggin' chalk.viciousmaussa wrote:Freitas is WBO lightweight, Torres is WBO light welter after an apparently lucky win over Arnoutis.
Lightweight is wide open. Casa got stripped, David Diaz got given the WBC, Julio Diaz is IBF champ again and Juan Diaz is riidng into obscurity with that WBA belt.

Yeah Earl is still WBU champion... If not, the WBU will make him champion again before they meet (or they will fight for the vacant title).
I don't think it will be that long before Khan is ready for Kastidis.
On a side note, remember Jon Thaxton came close in securing a WBO title with Freitas - any chance of Thaxton vs Kastidis.

Depends on your definition of Early... I didn't mean next fight but maybe before the years end or by April next year.Twinkle Toes wrote:Stu,
Do you think Warren would risk Khan against Kastidis this early - I don't think Kahn is anywhere near ready for a banger like him - It'll be carnage for Khan if that was to happen.
Then again I dont believe Khan has the whiskers :)
If Khan wants to win a Lightweight title, its got to be early in his career - he will soon struggle with the weight as he continues to fill out.
Katsidis is only young too, I think he has a lot to improve and he isnt going to get any worse in the next few years. Khan needs to step up and see how good he really is, He may never win a title if his whiskers dont get tested before fighting someone with a pulse.stujones wrote:Yeah Earl is still WBU champion... Just my take - if Graham Earl can catch and HURT Katsidis - so can Khan.Ben Keilty wrote:Katsidis is only young too, I think he has a lot to improve and he isnt going to get any worse in the next few years. Almost every fighter has been dropped at one stage, Katsidis was caught with a good punch but 20 secs later was back in control of the fight. That dosn't mean he will get knocked down every time he gets hit did you think he might have underestimated Earl.stujones wrote:Just my take - if Graham Earl can catch and HURT Katsidis - so can Khan.Ben Keilty wrote:Katsidis is only young too, I think he has a lot to improve and he isnt going to get any worse in the next few years. Magee dropped Hatton , Fenech was put down many times Corrales is dropped almost every fight. What im trying to get at is Khan hasn't fought anyone that hits back and until then he is little more than a prospect. And saying he will hurt Katsidis is because Earl did is bullshit.
I'm not saying your not wrong, of course Khan needs to be tested - but I think (and it is "think" untill he proves it) that he is faster, stronger, quicker and slicker than Earl.Ben Keilty wrote: Almost every fighter has been dropped at one stage, Katsidis was caught with a good punch but 20 secs later was back in control of the fight. That dosn't mean he will get knocked down every time he gets hit did you think he might have underestimated Earl.

It's a bit different fighting a proper lightweight who can bang a bit though Stu. Not the tomato cans that Khan has been fighting.
