Just read on secondsout that Yuri Romanov will defend the EBU title against Tontcho Tontchev in Belarus.
Great that he's getting a home fight after some great fights abroad.
But will anyone be showing this fight? Looks like it'll be a tough one to get hold of.

I go for Romanov, but then again I am a fan. I just think he's a bit more seasoned, has seen more styles away from home.
Depends if he can fight on the back foot when necessary. He'd have to give ground vs Katsidis.
I have to say though, Romanov had a hard time last year - the Earl & the Melero fights were very hard . But IMO Earl wasn't the same after fighting Yuri, and Melero was knocked cold.

Does Maloney have some involvement with this promotion? He has done some shows (or been involved) in East Europe before.... I can remember a Ramonov fight being shown in ringside.
I thought he had options on both fighters after the Dean Phillips win for Tontchev and the Earl fight for Romanov.... he definately said both will be involved in fights in the UK after these fights.
