Has anyone heard what is going on in his career, He is getting on a bit now and there isn't any time to be fighting anymore tune ups he really needs to step up in the 175 pound division.
I think he has a chance at this weight as there seems to be less skilled champions compared with 168.

He is still trying to secure a WBA Title Shot. He was close to getting Branco before the WBA said he had to fight Drews (coming up on 28-4-07). I dare say he will try and get the winner of that fight to come out here. As i mentioned Branco was done in theory and you might remember seeing Drews out here for his fight (and only loss) with Paul Briggs a few years back. So Green would be confident of a making and winning that fight.

I would also love to see him in with Clinton Woods. That is a very winable fight would propel him to bigger things...

Just out of interest is Green one of the most high profile boxers in OZ?

I was recently on holiday in Japan and met a lot of Australians who all raved about him! When I mentioned Mundine and Soliman their reaction was cold...

- These boys were all from the East, not West coast..

Green is very high profile, Mundine is high profile but a lot of people think he is a goose.
