Presuming it's not just bollocks, and the fight actually happens, what good can we make of this matchup between Calzaghe and Berrio?
Is Berrio a puncher?
Has he beaten a top 10 opponent?
Is he top 10 after beating Stieglitz?
Would he be an acceptable foe if Kessler, Mundine, Bute and Inkin weren't in his division?
I am a little surprised. Calzaghe can steal the limelight away from Taylor (lethargic and IMO overrated), Winky (becoming predictable at this level, especially when he can't outjab everyone), Hopkins (somewhere between masterful and sedate). The Taff has a way superior engine to any of those fighters, even though he's at the same weight since 1993!
And he has a pick of some very exciting opponents.
I have the feeling that after Winky-Hopkins, no one will give a shit about those two. Calzaghe could really pick things up - IF he wanted to.
