Max Baer website - updates !

Post by Maxie's Gal »

Hey Gents,

I've added several more fight and entertainment clips, including Max singing and dancing and the complete Baer-Louis bout, plus about 50 more photos (now at 200 total) and several new FAQs.

Enjoy !

Nice work, that's a great site!

Baer's an interesting guy nice to see him getting recognition, the video clip page is cool. :TU:

As a singer, he made a helluva fighter. I got "Lucky Fella" stuck in my head all day.

ROFLMAOOOO, at the college where I work/attend school I have that clip up all the time, its very bouncy isn't it ? I even have the journalism staff down the hall humming it some days !

I knew Max loved to dance at the clubs but in that clip he shows some real rhythm and timing, eh ? As to his singing, I'll take it over a rapper any day.

Here are the lyrics the next time you find yourself humming:

Lucky Fella, what a break
Fortune in my glove
Lucky Fella, on the make
On the make for love.

In that corner, old kid trouble,
Watch me sock out a double knockout,
Lucky Fella, flying high, what a lucky guy.
