Robin Reid is not the same as he used to be he looked in shape alright. But he boxed so bad 4 the standards that he use to box at.
Not the same fighter as wen he fougt joe calzaghe or when he smashed ottke round the ring but didnt get the decision

i no he hasnt boxed for a year or so.
but that is no excuse for the way he boxed that night asgainst brinkly he barely used the jab.
was hittin brinkly with no combos and wasnt really using the space of the ring.

I thought he was on the slide when he fought Ottke to be honest. He's nowhere near the fighter he was, and whilst Ive not seen this fight a friend of mine (who knws nothing about boxing) told me the fight was poor. He said reid looked like an old fighter who couldnt sustain anything beyond two or three punches at a time. Sad for Robin, but lets not forget he's given us some great fights over the years.

THe ottke fight was quite sad, it was his last through of the dice and he had worked hard for it, he deserved to win but was robbed by german officiating (that having to KO people to get a draw addage has never been more clear) and I had a 10er on it.
