Hopoate ,Mirovic trash talkin.

Post by ryan711 »

Mirovic, 41, publicly challenged boxing's rugby league newcomers Hopoate, Solomon Haumono, Les Mason and Monty Betham.
"I'll fight you all on the same night and I will knock the lot of you out," boasted Mirovic recently.
"None of them will last a round. I'll show them what real boxing is all about."
He's in a nursing home now," Hopoate told AAP
Miroivc next scheduled bout is against bitter rival Colin Wilson in Wyong, NSW on Thursday for the Australian heavyweight title. full read on http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=98941

First let me say that Mirovic is rubbish!

He is blatently copying Ndou here and in all honesty I would give Lovemore a better chance of backing it up than Bob. Bob is just trying to ride a bit of the publicity the convert's and Ndou created. Mirovic should retire now while he still has a couple of his faculties in tact...

Marlin your a bit harsh on Mirovic, He has done well in his career with his limited talent and has a lot of heart. He most probably would beat all these guys in 1 round except for Haumono.

FANTASTIC! I have been waiting and waiting for Mirovic-Wilson V. Talk about unifinished business... Those four consecutive wins Mirovic has over Wilson have proved nothing!

Seriously, though, I think Mirovic takes all of them except Haumono.

I can't wait to see more of Betham, from the one fight I've seen I think he has some potential. I hope he can get some good fights to show what he's really got.

Any news on Solomon's next opponent yet?

I told Chauncy before before if he really wants the fight to get back to me. I'd like to see how soon we could make it happen.

Fair enough but if he can't beat Bob this time he should give it up... Bob is way past his very mediocre prime.

hahaha Blair punches the absoulte crap out of Col, and Blair's only a Super Middleweight! But yeah Col Didn't train at all until he got back from his fight in Germany now he's in the gym 5 days a week, he told me that there was no need to cos there was nobody in Aus he saw as a threat to his Australian Title

Except a certain person with four victories over him already??

Or Meehan? (Where is he, by the way?)

Haumono would probably beat him.

Tauasa and Izonritei would have a chance too.

Izonritei lost to him twice, Tauasa was supose to fight him in march but pulled out, wanted to much money. As for Haumono it would be a bit early to put him in with Col maybe another 5 fights, I don't think Haumono would Beat Pat Kennedy or Nathan Briggs I'd like to see him fight Nathan or Pat before Col.

I think Izonritei's got more chance of beating Wilson at the third attempt than Wilson has of beating Mirovic at the fifth attempt!

What do you think of Wilson v Tauasa?
