Jackson Asiku Featherweight Commonwealth Champ

Post by Des1 »

Whats happening with him, will be a shame if this talent goes to waste, he pushed Hussien and St Clair real close when he was inexperianced, but he dosn't seem to be very active. I hear hes back in Australia after boxing in Africa, Thailand and England

I know that they offered Roy Rutherford a c/wealth title shot and apparently the RR camp went out kicking and screaming saying they didn't want it. jackson has scared off a lot of fighters, and promoters in England aren't daring enough to do anything with Africans even if they have "future world champ" carved into their foreheads. British fighters will just go for the British, English, Euro, and Intercontinental belts. They are fvck scared of Jackson and it's yet another reason why Briitsh boxing sort of makes ppl embarrassed to be British.

heard he was in Oz and visa problems keeping him out of England.

No-one in OZ prepared to take him on either. He's been training/sparring with young William Kickett in Perth recently - getting Willy ready for his upcoming OZ title fight, which has now been posponed to August.

There's no Visa problems. Asiku is an Aussie citizen.
