Were these bad decisions in your opinion?

Post by Roy Jones' next opponent »

I never saw these fights, so I can't judge for myself. Just curious what everyone else here thought of them. A simple yes or no for each one will do (answer "Yes" if you thought they were bad, "no" if you didn't).

1) James Toney vs. Dave Tiberi
2) James Toney vs. Reggie Johnson
3) Chris Eubank vs. Nigel Benn II
4) Paulie Ayala vs. Johnny Tapia II

1. ?
2. yes
3. ?
4. Every decision victory for Paulie Ayala has been a bad call.

Benn had a point deducted in his second fight with Eubank, without which he'd have won. But IMO Eubank v Benn II still was a bad call, just like Eubank v Watson I, Sherry and Thornton.

I thought Eubank was lucky in his fights with Ray Close as well, and the last really bad decision I saw was the draw Johnny Nelson got against Guillermo Williams for the WBO cruiserweight title a few months ago.
