.... but is at times frustrating to watch - Win number 19 against the previously unbeaten Tokarev but it took the full 12 rounds to get the decision - Huck, pronounced Hook, is far too upright and hangs his chin out when he attacks - He attacks in massive onslaughts and looks good but he is hopeless on the backfoot - Also he just doesnt seem able to keep the pressure up and allows his opponent to get back into the fight - OK Tokarev was a tough opponent but I have watched Huck before and he fought the same way then - He is very predictable and against the very best at CW I think he will have problems - His biggest asset is his KO ability - At 22 he has time on his side and maybe his skills can be improved before taking on the top names - The problem is, he is already near the top and will be fighting for a title very soon so a lot of work needs to be done very quickly - Good opponent for big Enzo.

I think the performance was frustrating. he's always been weird. his gaurd is very hard to get through. i just think he doesn't have a boxer's instincts. clearly sauerland are rushing him because they only have about 2 world champions - abraham and berrio...but i have to say, the result was an outstanding one. especially at age 22. neither haye nor enzo have faced as good an opponent as Tokarev - who was hugely impressive v Cora Jr and Schartz in thrilling KO wins.

Huck probably won 9 of the 12 rounds, of a 50-50 fight going in. Was disappointed with Tokarev's stamina. I think his rep has been really tarnished now.

Hopefully he learns to be more consistent and assertive. He has huge size and excellent fitness. But needs to protect his chin and learn to jab more.

They should definitely go after Cunningham who can't crack an egg and who doesn't throw accurate punches. Cunn's a shoeshiner and probably not elite class though I'd like to be proven wrong on that.

I agree, they put Huck in with a very tough and skilled opponent, no Bobby Gunn to protect their fighter - Great matchmaking and the risk paid off - Its made Hucks record look even more impressive.

Im not sure about his skills. First time I saw him on Sky on Fri night, great win over Tokarev, but I dont think Huck is a world beater. He may be too much for Macarinelli, but Haye would demolish Huck imo

I saw Huck a couple of times before on Eurosport, they do have some pretty decent fights on there sometimes - Not at all sure what would happen with Enzo if the two met - Thing is it would be a good competative fight which is what Macca needs right now - As you say he probably isnt a world beater but he is an exciting young CW who like Enzo can bang a bit, to say the least.

But late to say that. He just beat a lethal puncher with skills who was in any sensible top 10 cruiser ranking. But I get what you mean. They got the right guy for him, in the right place (home adv) at the right time (Tokarev 35 yo).

Huck has a lot, but the seperate departments - attack, defense, footwork - don't seem to mesh very well.

I have not seen this latest bout but having seen enough of Huck i think he has the potential to go far. His style is a bit like a bully, he tucks up very well behind a good guard and attacks in frenzied bursts. He likes to overwhelm his opponents with a bullying style...looking forward to seeing this bout with Tokarev. Did they show it in full?

They did show the full bout, Tokarev was a real test.
