Robbie and Ricky

Post by Captain Hook »

Apparently Wayne Rooney is no longer carrying Ricky's belt into the ring...it's going to be Robbie Williams instead!!

That'll do wonders for his credibility, he should have got Westlife to work his corner

Ricky won't be a Fool Again, he'll get in shape Against All Odds. And the boys can have You Raise Me Up on stand-by.

(Yes: I did need to use Wikipedia for song titles; okay?!)

Why doesn't he just do what everyone else does and get the seconds to carry them to the ring? And if he doesn't want to do that, why not just get best-mate-Marco to take them in?

Why does he need a celebrity that is -- whether it Be Rooney or Williams -- D-list in the US?

Well, considering that one of Robbie's albums is called 'The Ego Has Landed' then the two seem to go well together...

But will it be a matter of Ricky being told by Robbie "Swing When You're Winning', but hopefully neither fighter will end up in 'Intensive Care'

(and, yes, I did have to use Wikipedia for those titles as well....)

But will Ricky COME UNDONE against castillo, or will there be NO REGRETS in facing him? I think Castillo may be (SING WHEN YOU'RE) WINNING the fight by the half way stage and RUDEBOX his way to victory.

As long as Castillo doesn't catch him South of the Border it'll be a great fight :)

A mate does a Robbie tribute act around the pubs, so there was a time when he played the songs constantly to learn the words. After a few trips in his car I'd learnt most of the lyrics myself. Bloody scarred I tell thee.

I always like to see boxing friends on the walkout. Benn with Bruno etc.

Ricky would make a brilliant trainer when he retires. It's nice to hear he still looks out for James.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Barrera will accompany Hatton to the ring?? Would be nice to see him return the favour.

He was at the gym the other day. James. He seemed to be doing alright but he cannot fly so cannot attend the fights. So he comes to training sessions.
Thanks Terry really appreciate the info
