I know very little about Bantamweight history up to maybe the late 90's. Where would you guys rank Rafael Marquez all time at that weight class, now that he's moved up? And who would you consider #1 at that weight all time? Jofre seems to be the typical choice.
Thanks.

My top 10 Bantamweight rankings:
1. Eder Jofre
2. Panama Al Brown
3. Terry McGovern
4. Carlos Zarate
5. Ruben Olivares
6. Manuel Ortiz
7. Jimmy Barry
8. Fighting Harada
9. Pete Herman
10. Jimmy Carruthers
In the top 20, I do not have a spot for Rafael Marquez. There were too many bantamweights that were WAY BETTER THAN HE.

Yeah, I didn't figure Marquez would make anyone's top 10, but I wondered if he would make a top 20. I figured Jofre would come out at #1, he's the only prominent Bantamweight of past decades that I really know much about, unfortunately, and he seems to be the guy people generally go with for 118. Thanks guys.

Besides the list I gave above of my own personal bantamweight ranks of all time, there are so many great bantams that I cannot see Rafael Marquez nor Alberto Davila in the top 30: Rafael Herrera, Raton Macias, Alphonse Halimi, Sixto Escobar, Harry Jeffra, Harold Dade, Bud Taylor, Miguel "Happy" Lora, Jorge Lujan, Alfonso Zamora, Chucho Castillo, Billy Peacock, Daniel Zaragoza, Jeff Fenech, Lou Salica, Lupe Pintor, Raul Perez, Orlando Canizalez, and many other that do not come to my mind right now.
