Why should it? It may have made last weeks as that was when EARL made the decision and told Hennessy.

What does appear factual is that people on here have an unhealthy obssession with allegedly. Why, don't you have lifes of your own?

If you don't like him why do you keep talking about him..weired or what!

Do you think this sport would prosper without him? Could Frank Maloney, Mick Hennessy or Dennis Hobson take the sport to a new level? If the answer is yes, why haven't they?

Nothing do do with unhealthy allegedly obsessions. I would think if Warren dissaperared off the face of the earth tomorrow most of us would happily never speak his name again but like it or not he is the major promoter in British boxing (or at least was) for the last 15 odd years.

So the changes in our sport do have much to do with him...

Many of us gre up watching the 70's and 80's Middleweights in their great domestic clashes, the Benn/Eubank/Watson fights etc...

But he couldn't even put together Hatton-Witter, now it's Haye-Enzo and I'm sure there are other examples of Warren just protecting his revenue and not taking any risks, basically not giving a toss what he serves up to the paying public.

Was that a hint of positivity from you?

Careful, you'll become a member of a very, very exclusive and un-popular club on here.

When good fights can be made they will be made as has been the case for many years.

I dont think he to blame for the problems, fighters are equally to blame. Look at Hatton prime example he turned down fight with Mayweather.

I got an Albion season ticket.

Frank is the biggest dog in the dog pound, and therefore gets the most attention, it's as simple as that.

It's the same reason Robbie Williams gets more papparazzi chasing him that Joe Pasquale.

I think there are a fair few here who acknowledge that Frank is a major force in boxing, just because he gets criticised does not mean there is some sort of vendetta.

I certainly don't have anything against Warren, Sports Network etc, but I do expect to be able to voice an opinion on here about their promotions, fighters, or press releases, without fear of being blackballed and refused press credentials, or worse, having abuse hurled at me over the phone by SN employees over comments mistakenly attributed to me, whilst out doing my shopping in Sainsburys. Something which I incidentally never received an apology for, despite the fact that it was completely out of line, and a complete mistake on SN's part.

I would suggest that perhaps it would be better to just let some of this criticism slide, especially on here, I mean after all, how many people even read these comments, there's only about 100 of us, and the stuff we discuss isn't even interesting to our own mates, let alone the wider world.

I neither like nor dislike SN or allegedly, it's a fact that it/they exist, and are the major players in UK boxing by some stretch, and I reserve the right, so long as my comments are neither defamatory or libellous, to have an opinion about their efforts in boxing.

BOXINGCHAP whats the current situation with Calazage-Kessler and what percentage chance would you give of us seeing the fight before the end of the year?

Also which opponents seem likely for Amir Khan after Limmond assuming he wins?

Could Amir Khan make 130lbs for a 1 off title fight and would SN encourage him to fight for a title at 130?

Also which of SNs 126-135lb fighters look likely to square off in the near future and how does SN see those rivalries turning out?

Thanks for any replys Boxingchat :TU:

Other than Benn and Watson those fights were in all in the 90's. Who is a serious challenger to him being Britain's major promoter now? Maloney, twice ex-employee and couldn't manage it with Lennox Lewis and millions in Eliades and Levitts ill-gotten gains. Hennessy Sports, Froch, who else, Witter? Can't even stage Witter V Harris because TV won't finance it. Hobson? On what, the wages Hatton pay's him for doing his donkey work. Waterman, with his Jewish business mentality, didn't leave to miss out of the share of big pie did he? He left becasue he didn't want half of nothing and an expensive ego trip to boot? Clinton Woods, oh I forgot him, but then again, after turning down Calzaghe so has everyone else.

Warren couldn't put together Witter V Hatton simply because Hatton and his Dad didn't want to do it period and Warren took the public flak off them. I am sure this will all come out very, very shortly. Haye has been made a public offer twice but declined. Horse to water and all that!

Why hasn't Hatton fought Witter now then, he's WBC Champion now and brings something to the table, so why hasn't he done it? Answers on a postcard to Fight Academy's bank manager please!

If you lot actually took a step back, were more positive and asked civilised questions then you may get straight answers with factual back up.

It might even open your eyes!
