Hi, my Name is Chrissie and i am Alby Hollister's Grandaughter. He was a boxer. Im just wondering, does anyone know or remember him? it would be great to hear about him. thanks. x

my father fought a couple of times on the same bills as alby hollisterand admired him as a fighter and as a nice guy. john macdonald matchroom m.c. rang the ten bells at the york hall just after he passed away a few months ago,everybody there observed the silence and clapped loudly afterwards.i think he was the first man to floor randolph turpin which shows what a dangerous fighter he was. i know everyone thought very highly of him.
