Saw this article posted on DHB and thought I'd post it here. Very informative piece, Thomas Hauser is a top class writer.
I download a lot of HBO shows as I like their commentary and I must say it's good they've kept Merchant on board. Some don't like him, but I think he's brilliant and Kellerman just isn't good enough to replace him.

Good piece...but am I the only one who actually doesn't mind Merch getting the chop? I always thought, especially the last few years, his.........extremely.......slow..........ponderous......sometimes.....inane.....off..the..wall.......delivery......
made.....for.......tedious.....................viewing. Plus some of his 'closing comments' were bizarre/cringeworthy to say the least. I was ok with Foreman leaving, and I don't mind Larry going either. 'k?
ps. do actually have a fav Larry-ism, at the end of Hamed/Kelley when he goes 'Whoaa!' after Prince smashes Kevin with that left hander, excellent.
