Mohammad Ali's exhibitions

Here we go; Boston, MA, 1972.10.11.
Ali, 225, sparred two rounds each with Cliff McDonald, 215; John Dennis, 207; Doug Kirk, 190; Paul Raymond, 210; Ray Anderson, 177.
(Kirk, a very good puncher, planned to drop Ali. He covered Ali into a corner where he belabored him and after a solid left hook to the head Ali slumped to the canvas. The question was Clay clowning when he went down or did he cover up a true knockdown with clowning? We may never know but Kirk felt that he scored a knockdown over the former heavyweight king). I keep a list of all ALI exhibitions I find. cyberboxingzone has a great list but I have found more - they just need dates etc...

Phil -- the CBZ keeps a much longer list than what is on the website --

send me an email at [email protected] and I will send you ALi's record with Exhibitions and amateur fights -- hopefully you can add some exh I don't have -- I do have a pretty good list, if I do say so myself!

I want to publish the full list in a couple of weeks, so I hope you ahve additional info --
